Q:What if after Jane successfully rescued a teen girl she eventually develops an obsession towards Jane making slightly inappropriate remarks and subtly invading her personal space. Things go really sour when after an uncomfortable Jane tries to keep her distance and talking her down, the girl goes to the police and accuses Jane of coming on to her. The girl fabricates so many convincing facts that a huge IA investigation is set and unpleasant repercussions ensue.
Just in case you wanted some more of Angie and horses - ausxip comes to the rescue again! I can’t get over that first one.
A/N: There’s a headcanon that was posted by thepriceismeg about Maura telling Jane about their baby by hanging a stocking. I tried to fic it. The end is laaaame, but I hope you guys like it. I just couldn’t get it out of my head.
It was a cold, cold day in Boston. The beginning of December brought harsh winds, bitter temperatures, and snow. Lots and lots of snow.
Thankfully, Jane and Maura were tucked warmly inside their home decorating for Christmas. They had pulled out their collection of ornaments, lights, figurines, whatever they had that was festive. This being their second holiday together, they had quite the collection.
They had already set the tree up. Jane’s mother had given the couple a tree skirt that had been quilted by Nona Rizzoli.
“Jane, since you’re taller, would you mind stringing the lights around the tree? I’ll put the stuff up on the mantle.”
Did any of you guys ever genuinely believe in Santa?
Q:you dangle angie abs in front of your followers who you know are 90% lesbians... and then no proof... sigh your a fuckin tease, girl.
None of the properties of my physical appearance, or admitting to having them, has anything to do with my followers’ sexualities. I didn’t mean to tease anyone and I’m sorry if it looked that way… it’s probably better if I don’t say anything else.
Q:So there's really no going back there now but what I wouldn't give for a return to not reducing Maura into someone desperate for male attention and quoting ridiculous things so Jane can make a face and go 'huh?' and Jane showing intelligence and bravery without having to be bitchy and cases that take investigating and not magical coinicidences that lead us to someone we saw and probably instantly suspected in the first ten minutes and Jane and Maura speaking to one another like friends would do.
oh, YOU MEAN SEASON ONE?!
i kind of feel that we are getting a diet version of Jane.. she was all hard lines, damage and fire in the first season, and I miss that. what she has been built into now is just.. i’m not exactly sure. they have tried to soften her, but i think hard-ass, i’m-a-little-broken-but-you-don’t-need-to-know Jane was my favorite.
and we have gotten glimpses of that in the seasons since then, but nothing like it used to be. i almost want to start a rant again about how much potential and character building was wasted on the brushing over of Jane’s PTSD, but I won’t go into that (again)
Maura’s character has been given substantial background, and i love that, but i still miss the character that she was. a little cold and introverted. for some reason i really liked that characterization of Maura because there is so much potential there to delve into. and i love how Jane brought her out of that, became her friend and confidant, but i don’t like how they have just Wikipedia’d her up and gave her this kind of comedic relief spot because “oh, Maura is so adorable and oblivious, LOOK! Horseshoe crabs, Maur!” derpa derpa derp
"There was a lot of benign neglect.’ Maura is a little broken, a little darker then they give her credit for. i would like to see more of that and why.
that is in part why i want Constance (and Maura’s dad at some point) to make an appearance. i want to see that family dynamic, because you got a piece of it in ‘Rebel Without A Pause’ and ouch, icy (until the end) but i think that would bring up a whole other side to Maura that we have yet to see.
we are through the Doyle and Hope debacle, i kind of want to see what skeletons the Isles have in their closets.
perhaps with the new show runner we will get more a of a crime drama and get back to what season 1 was and gave the show potential to be.
Q:Season One it's THE BEST SEASON and "I'm your Boogie Man" is the best episode, with "Remember Me" a close second. Do you agree?
Season one is indeed the best. The Hoyt storyline was really the best thing they had, and although Remember Me was one of the best, if not the best episode, I wish they had drawn that out a bit more before killing him. Hoyt really brought Rizzles together like nothing else.
I love the domestic Rizzles scenes we’ve gotten lately, but I’d love to see Maura come to Jane’s apartment sometimes instead of always Jane at Maura’s house.
Q:when you say you'd like Rizzles to become canon, what do you have in mind? like, if you compare them to another OTP of another show, what kind of relationship would they have? I kinda have an idea from your fanfics but some examples wouldn't hurt
That’s tough because in actual reality, I don’t want them to become canon, because I’m certain the show would do it disappointingly.
I don’t watch much current TV so I can’t really think of another ship to compare them to. Basically I would just want them to be super domestic (because that would be such a drastic change right.) I wouldn’t want their relationship to be portrayed as revolving around sex, and I’m afraid that’s exactly what they’d do. Not that I’m at all opposed to them having sex, no ma’am. But unlike any other awful ship on this show, there’s potential for real love (their canon relationship is already like 96% of the way there, tbh) between these two characters, and I’d just want it treated with respect and not oversexualized or played for laughs. I just want them to be allowed to interact like human beings who care about each other. Heck they don’t even have to be canon for that.
